C.H.L.O.E. privacy policy
Who we are
C.H.L.O.E. is a private desktop application operated by IS Digital (isdigital.dk) for its owner's own use. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.
What the application accesses
When the owner signs in with Google and gives permission, C.H.L.O.E. uses the YouTube API Services to:
- Read basic information about the YouTube channels the owner selects (channel name, subscriber count, view count and number of videos).
- Upload the owner's own videos to those channels, as private videos, and, only when the owner clicks to do so, change a video's visibility to public.
- Read the status of videos uploaded by the application.
The application requests only the YouTube permissions needed for these tasks. It does not access other Google services, the owner's e-mail, contacts, files or any other personal data.
How the information is used and stored
- Information from Google is used only to provide the features described above, for the owner, inside the application.
- The sign-in (an access and refresh token) is stored encrypted on the owner's own computer using the operating system's secure storage. It is never stored on a server, never shown on screen and never included in logs.
- Channel statistics are stored locally on the owner's computer.
- We do not sell, rent or share this information with anyone, we do not use it for advertising, and no human reads it other than the owner.
- We do not transfer this information to any third party, except to Google and YouTube themselves when the application calls their APIs on the owner's behalf.
Google API Services User Data Policy
C.H.L.O.E.'s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube
C.H.L.O.E. uses YouTube API Services. By using the application, the owner is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access and deleting data
- In the application, Disconnect on a channel removes the stored sign-in and revokes it at Google.
- Access can also be removed at any time in the Google Account's third-party access settings: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Deleting the application's data folder on the owner's computer removes everything it has stored.
